Medical Billing School Opportunities
A Great Health Care Job Starts with a Great Medical Billing Education
Enrolling in a medical billing school is the ideal solution for someone who wants to be eligible for a job in the growing health care field but does not wish to deal directly with patients.
The medical billing program at Saint Louis College of Health Careers trains students for certification in medical billing and coding, an area that the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates will grow by 200,000 jobs in the next seven years. Jobs in this field offer pleasant office settings without the rush and emergencies found in traditional healthcare fields.
SLCHC medical billing courses are taught by qualified instructors who are dedicated to giving our students the highest level of hands-on health care instruction. Although medical billing courses are increasingly popular, our classes are small and individual attention is emphasized.

How Does Our Medical Billing School Prepare You?
SLCHC’s medical billing program teaches you the skills required to capably perform medical billing and coding duties in any hospital, clinic, or medical office. The job involves using classification systems software to assign codes to medical procedures and diagnoses. These codes determine reimbursement through private or government insurers such as Blue Cross, Medicare, or Medicaid.
Once you’ve completed SLCHC medical billing school and become certified, our job placement coordinator will assist you in finding employment. We’ll work with you to improve your job interview skills and resume writing while using our connections with local health care employers to help you find a job.
We're excited to help you take the first step towards
a rewarding career in healthcare.
