Career Programs for a Variety of Jobs

SLCHC helps you take advantage of dynamic health care employment opportunities with career programs such as these:

  • Physical therapist assistant. A PTA, working with physical therapists, helps patients regain mobility and strength lost due to medical problems through education and exercise.
  • Respiratory therapy technician. This 22-month-long program trains students for a job evaluating and treating patients with breathing disorders.
  • Medical billing and coding. Students learn how to manage health information of patients for a variety of purposes, including insurance billing, record-keeping, and legal documentation.

Many graduates of our career programs find work through SLCHC’s job placement coordinator. We maintain solid relationships with many Saint Louis-area health care employers and assist students with job-seeking skills such as resume-writing and interviewing.
